This week brings an ideal opportunity to slow down and spend time with those who matter most to you.

So today, I’m going to share with you some upcoming Thanksgiving holiday events in Chattanooga that you and your family can enjoy together!

Check Out These Upcoming Chattanooga Thanksgiving Events

15th Annual Grateful Gobbler Walk: Participants will gather at Coolidge Park at 8 a.m. This fun event benefits the new Shelter for Homeless Families, located on site at the Community Kitchen on 11th Street in Chattanooga. Cost to participate is $25 for walkers/runners over 13 years old and $10 for ages 12 and under.

Thanksgiving at Ruth’s Chris: Enjoy an award-winning dinner without ever having to lift a finger. Menu options include steak house salad, Louisiana seafood gumbo, sliced oven-roasted turkey, homemade gravy, cornbread-herb stuffing, cranberry relish, garlic mashed potatoes and a dessert duo pairing of pumpkin cheesecake with vanilla ice cream. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Thanksgiving Dinner Cruise: Thanksgiving on a boat? Why not! This dinner cruise features hand-carved smoked ham, sage roasted turkey breast, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole and more. Boarding starts at 10:30 a.m.

  • When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 27

Rock City Gardens’ Enchanted Garden of Lights: Check out this award-winning display of hundreds of thousands of lights and more than 30 holiday scenes. Additional activities include gingerbread cookie decorating, hot cocoa, holiday music and even dinner with Santa during the month of December.

  • When: 6 to 9 p.m. nightly, now through Jan. 3
  • Where: 1400 Patten Road, Lookout Mountain, GA

Ice on the Landing: Enjoy this temporary ice rink on the Chattanooga Green with your entire family, starting on Friday, Nov. 28. The rink is a 50-feet by 70-feet open-air version of Rockefeller Center and promises a great time for everyone!
