Apple Festival
When: September 29th
Where: Chattanooga Market
What: In order to mark the beginning of the fall growing season, the Chattanooga Market will be hosting the annual Apple Festival, dedicated to all things apples. Expect to find everything from apple cake to apple jelly to apple candles!
Rock City’s Rocktober Fest
When:October 5th – October 27th
Where: Rock City Gardens
What: Rock City’s take on German heritage is one of the premier events in the area and includes live music, polka dancing, German food, and a few special guests. It’s even been named as a top event by the Southeast Tourism Society!
25th Annual Wine over Water
When: October 5th
Where: Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge
What: One of the biggest and best wine tasting festivals in the state, Wine over Water brings in reds, whites, and everything in between from over 100 wineries around the world. Tickets are still on sale, so be sure to snag yours if you haven’t yet!
Chattanooga MotorCar Festival
When: October 11th – 13th
Where: Ross’s Landing
What: Celebrating its inaugural year, the Chattanooga MotorCar Festival is heavily influenced by similar events from across the pond, and will bring in unique, classic, and vintage cars from all over for shows, races, and more. If you’re a fan of cars, this is a can’t-miss!
Chattanooga Oktoberfest
When: October 12th – 13th
Where: First Tennessee Pavilion
What: Follow up Rocktoberfest with another Oktoberfest celebration—Chattanooga’s very own! The oldest and largest of it’s kind in the city, you can expect tons of German traditions, tasty food and drinks, live music, and more.
Water Lantern Festival
When: October 19th
Where: Chester Frost Park
What: Named as the #1 Best Cultural Festival by USA TODAY, Chattanooga’s Water Lantern Festival will include food, drinks, activities, music, and, of course, the chance to set your own unique lantern afloat on the water.
